No disrespect to the interior designer who designed this but this is my take on the Hampton Inn Hilton Oahu Project. I just wanted to give the Hampton Inn Oahu lobby the famed Hilton style & sophistication it deserves. I see Hampton Inn & Suites Oahu/Kapolei wants to showcase modern chic elegance, yet with a beach casual ambience.
The old bar stools were mid century boring. So I chose a more vibrant palette of modern furniture & accent pieces. Now, the chic peacock blue bar stools (from Walmart) are the centers of attention & I added some eye-catching aqua glass vases on the table (from Amazon). I changed the ceiling lights to a more modernized capiz chandelier (from Amazon) – still beach chic, but still glam and majestic. I totally redesigned the wall behind. I moved (not seen) the tv to the grey smooth wall instead (overhead, by the entrance)- this way, it is not the main décor of the textured wall. It will be kinda hidden when you first enter the lobby, but still seen by more guests when sitting down. I redesigned the wall using affordable extra large decorative mirrors (from Pier 1) with capiz details, placed unevenly all over the wall, making the lobby bright & elegant, yet still very welcoming & casual.
This is my redesign of Design Atelier‘s Hampton Inn Hilton Oahu Project.
